Perhaps you just want a break from the seaside hustle and bustle to enjoy a peaceful drink overlooking the bay? Choose from a variety of ales, wines and spirits at our well-stocked bar, which is open from 10am until late, and enjoy the panoramic view from indoors or from our outdoor seating area.

We’d always advise to book a table in advance, as The View is proving incredibly popular since its refurbishment in 2020 as an attractive, first-floor dining experience. With a brand new kitchen team and an exciting new Breakfast menu that is cooked fresh to order. We use local suppliers, and cater for special dietry requirements.

We can guarantee you won’t be disappointed with either the choice or the quality.

Look out for our free entertainment evenings too – with regular acts including comedians and singers, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Is car parking available?

Yes, there is plenty of nearby on-street parking, contact us if you want a permit, which we can provide for a small fee.
Can I bring my dog into the bar?

Dogs are welcome in the Bar Area and outside.
Do you have family rooms?

We have a number of rooms that can sleep up to 4 people, check our online booking system for availability.
Can non-residents use the bar?

Of course! We welcome people from the local area and beyond – just pop into our well-stocked bar for a refreshing drink (it’s open from noon until late)
How much does it cost to hire the function room?

Our hire rates are highly competitive – just call us for a quote. The room is available to hire for a few hours if that’s all you need, or all day and evening until late if required.
Are you able to cater for events and parties?

Yes, we are, and we’d love to help you celebrate your special occassion!, Talk to us about creating a bespoke package.
How far away is the town centre and beach?

You couldn’t really be any closer to Scarborough’s stunning North Bay – it’s just a three-minute walk, while the bustling town centre is only a five-minute walk away.
Can you cater for special diets?

Yes, just let us know on booking of any allergies or dietary requirements you have so we can provide something suitable to ensure you enjoy your visit to us.
